Hong Kong SAR Establishment Day

Hong Kong SAR Establishment Day, also known as the Reunification Day is the annual July 1, to commemorate the return of Hong Kong The People's Republic of China, and the establishment of the HKSAR and the anniversary of the establishment. In the same year, Hong Kong SAR (1997), has provided Hong Kong SAR Establishment Day holiday the following day (July 2).

Each year on July 1 7:58 am, Hong Kong SAR Chief Executive and government officials will attend the flag-raising ceremony at Golden Bauhinia Square, Wan Chai, will mark the establishment of the SAR at the reception, inviting guests. Traditionally, each year the leaders of the SAR Establishment Day The People's Republic of China to visit Hong Kong before and after.

But on the other hand, July 1 is also often a procession of days, from July 1, 1997, the year will have a parade that day.
