Recycling

Recycling is the recovery and reprocessing of parts or elements of an article, technology, device or reach the end of their useful life can be reused. The basic phases of recycling are the collection of waste, process or manufacture other products, which can be recycled themselves. Materials are usually recycled iron, aluminum, glass bottles, paper, wood and plastic. Recycling involves processing used materials for new products that may be to avoid wastage of materials potentially useful to reduce the consumption of fresh raw material, to reduce energy use, reduce air pollution (from incineration) and water pollution (from landfill) reducing the need for disposal "conventional" and lower greenhouse gas emissions compared to production. Recycling is a key component of modern waste management and is the third component of the hierarchy of recycling: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. "

Recycling is therefore the action to re-enter the cycle of production and consumption materials obtained from waste products. For example, recycling means that a computer or its parts or raw materials which are components used again.

Also refers to activities that aim to reuse parts of articles, on the whole, have reached the end of its useful life, but that support for some additional use of its components or elements.

Process (simple or complex, depending on material) needed to have these parts or elements, and prepare them for their new use, known as selective collection.

The production of goods and products that make consumption growth and consequently increase the waste of various kinds, some of which simply can not build up or break up, since they constitute a real or potential danger to the health- modern societies are forced to develop different methods of treating this waste, with the implementation of recycling is justification enough to get into practice.

In an ecological vision of the world, recycling is the third and last pieces in the goal of reducing waste, the first would reduce consumption, and the second reuse.
